This is the Army Combat Medical Badge, the CMB worn by medics who treated soldiers while under enemy fire.
The badge was established in January 1945 and goes to Army Medical Department soldiers serving with a ground combat unit of brigade size or smaller who perform medical duties while engaged by the enemy. Additional awards became possible in 1951, Vietnam era medics qualified from March 2, 1961, to March 28, 1973, and in 2025 the Army added a Master Combat Medical Badge with gold wreaths.
It measures 4.5 by 3 inches, with a cut edge and iron-on backing.
Put it in a shadow box with a medic\'s medals, or give it to the Doc from your platoon.
