Grades -

  • Grade 1 - Previously issued surplus that will have signs of field use, mostly some colour fading or dirt. Still great kit, especially if for a similar life again!
  • Grade 1.5 - Similiar to Grade 1, but will have had a few small professional repairs. Usually not all too noticeable! Great condition, with price reflecting the fixes.

Retro Belgian surplus, used as general issue for many years. It\'s got a few unique design to most other solid field jackets, mostly due to the styling around the neck and the 2 slanted chest pockets.

It\'s hard wearing, although certainly for spring and autumn with light showers rather than winter weather. Lots of great features for practical use, especially being made of a solid canvas, heavy cotton material.

An interesting piece about this jacket is that before 1999, only certain sections of the Belgian army used the now iconic \"jigsaw\" pattern, so the standard, general issue kit was in fact this rather simple olive green coloured kit. Of course the colour is tried and tested, so it\'s not surprising it stuck around for so long!

All jackets come in olive green, a classic colour tried and tested colour that works great for all walks of life!
