Maximum Effort is the 4th book in the history of the 449th Bomb and is primarily a black and white history of the crews, planes and events of the 449th Group. B-24 Combat Missions is a color-picture packed history of B-24 operations over Nazi Europe. The two volumes make a great addition to any history buff or aviator’s library. The 449th Bomb Group book is clean of any marks, writing, highlighting or tears. The B-24 Combat Missions is likewise very good condition but has a dedication on the inside front page. See pictures.
