Great Civil War document from Thomas Wallwork , commander of the Washington Light Guard, ordering amember of the guard, George Bell, to reort to the Armory. He is among the troops that wil elect a captain of the First and Second recruits.
This one of many Civil War and Sanitary Fair/Commission documents that I will be listing now and next week.
You can see the partly printed document and the writing on the form in the photo above. It was folded in thirds, I would guess about 160 years ago! The creases do not show very much and don't detract. There are a couple areas on the left border where is a small paper loss; very minor.
The document messares 5x8 inches.
