COLLECTIBLE REPRODUCTION ENGLISH CIVIL WAR ARMOR, HELMET, BUFFCOAT 17TH CENTURY:

These items are from my English Civil War/30 Years War kit. The helmet has a sliding nasal bar, plume holder (includes plumes) and articulated neck plates. There is no liner, as a I wore a monmouth cap underneath. The gorget is handmade and has a scalloped leather liner on the outside/underneath rim to protect the armor from scratching. It has a keyhole fastner on the side. The breastplate was made in England for an English Civil War reenactor and has the original leather and I did not repaint it, as I wanted it to appear used and not brand new. It has a hook attached at the waist, to hold a pike pot helmet by it's chin strap. The buffcoat is glued and handsewn by myself from the approved English Civil War Society pattern. It has the period correct metal hook and loop attachments inside and the faux ribbon ties on the outside. I am almost 6 foot with average build and can wear it comfortably.
