Item Description
Defense Logistics Agency Distinguished Career Award plaque. A large bronze-tone emblem with an eagle, stars and the words Defense Logistics Agency on banners frames a shield reading Service and Years, with a small blank panel between. Below is a black and gold plate reading Distinguished Career Award. Mounted on a wood plaque board of approximately 8.5 x 10.5 inches with beveled edges. Fair used condition: the name strip on the plate has been scraped or peeled, so no recipient name remains, and the board shows light wear.
The emblem appears to be cast metal in an antiqued bronze finish. The back has two keyhole hanger slots, one for vertical and one for horizontal hanging, plus some light scratches.
A display piece for a DLA retiree, a Department of Defense logistics office, or a collector of federal agency and military award plaques.
