Blade has etching on it.Looks like S & _. Which probably stands for S & K. Schnitzler & Kirschbaum early german sword maker.. Please read descripton.Handle has a orange apearance to it. Ask questions before offerding.
These early swords and knives are not perfect, they may have been painted. taken apart, lost handle wrap or wire, cracked or pieces of handle missing, chrome or nickel plated. rusty, pitted, sharpened, may have been in fire, bent, scratched, battle scars, soldered, abused and what ever happened in their 170 years plus years existence.
