Iraq/Kuwait Era United Nations PEACEKEEPER Helmet Assembly - Complete w/ WWII (front seam) Helmet Shell, 90s Dated UN Fabric Cover, Chin Strap, Dated Liner and Nape Strap. Very nice Condition

Note the UN commonly used old US surplus helmet components. So it is common to see components from various eras. One can look on Wikipedia for the UN Peacekeeping missions that were conducted in the 1990s (e.g. Iraq, Kuwait, etc.).

Helmet was Acquired as-isIncluding:

WWII (pre 1945) Front Seam, Swivel Bale M1 Helmet Shell w/ Clip-on Chin Strap. Shellappears well usedwith correct period (1970s) OD repaint - 95% intact. Clip-onChinstrap is 1980s.

UN Fabric Cover appears lightly used, dated 1996, with no fading or tears.

Liner is post Vietnam, Field Used (dated 1983) w/ complete suspension and Original Sweat Band. Some period soiling along the original sweat band. Exterior OD Paint is 100% intact w/ 1990s Period Graffiti (ref. “Opus” cartoons)
