This is an Indian Princess pommel US Officers Sword. Theywere circa 1840 . This example is in fine condition. The hilt is brass withMother of Pearl grips in fine conditionwith all the wires intact and tight. The blade is straight in fine antiquecondition. . Originally blued with golddesigns is now faded from age although you can still see the blueing and golddesigns. It is complete with its brass scabbard with engraved designs . Thereis a shallow dent towards the bottom.The overall length is 35 ½” with a 30 “ blade .
