I have for sale Lt Commander John Murphy's, Commander of the SS-198 USS Tambor Submarine, US Navy issued Submariner Jacket. LCDR Murphy and the Tambor were responsible for a number of confirmed sinking of Japanese vessels in Pearl Harbor in WWII. This jacket saw action aboard the USS Tambor in Pearl Harbor & near Wake Island in the Pacific Theater in early WWII. Constructed of rubberized canvas with black leather accents and a Sheepskin inner lining. Has some wear, but overall VG+ Condition and a museum piece. LCDR Murphy signed his name on hand sewn name tags inside both upper sleeves. This is an amazing WWII USN artifact that not only has confirmed action at Pearl Harbor, but belonged to one of the great WWII Submarine Commanders.
This is the perfect Christmas or Holiday gift for your loved one! Or perfect for a museum, to be donated in your name! Truly an important historical WWII artifact! If you don't like my price, please make me a reasonable offer and I will consider it.
