Random House, 1967/Landmark Book No. 116 ~Hardcover. “Combat Nurses of World War II" by Wyatt Blassingame | Excellent vintage condition. This book has come from a private collection with a good binding and clean crisp internal pages. No writing or markings in the book with the exception of the letter H stamped on the first page (see pic). The later edition Landmarks were primarily sent to schools and libraries, so it is very difficult to find one like this copy. Hardback pictorial cover hardback (No Dust Jacket was issued with this title). Outside covers are in Very Good Plus to Excellent condition. Overall very nice copy! This title is getting harder and harder to find, as there was a relatively small distribution of this title compared to most of the earlier titles. Landmark Book #116 Combat Nurses of World War II is the story of the courageous young women who served at Pearl Harbor, Corregidor, Anzio, Battle of the Bulge, Iwo Jima, and other fighting fronts of the Second World War.
