John Glynn was born in 1880, he enlisted 5th June 1915 and served with the 6th Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment in the Balkans from 14th November 1915. He was discharged medically unfit for further service 27th March 1917 suffering from general ability caused by Malaria contracted on active service. Awarded a 50% disability pension, home address 13 Brook Street, Lytham, Lancashire where he lived with his wife Florence.
