This StraightDown Sniper bolt is a nice addition for your rifle. The shaft is StraightDown(90degrees),and it comes with a Stainless Steel Ball(Pressed on 5/16\" Stainless Steel shaft). No stock modificationare necessary. This bolt will fit ALL Mosin Nagant Original Wood Stocks and ATI & Archangel Stocks. It will NOT work well with some other after marketpoly stocks and because of your scope placement(SEE THIRD (3)PICTURE, this will work).Our Sniper Bolt is Tig Welded, Not Screwed andPined. All our Sniper Bolts have the Serial Number Removed from the Top Side Tongue. This is helpful ifyou decide to transfer your Serial Number to this New Bolt (we do not do this). We do not modify customer owned bolts bodies. Rifle DOES NOT comewith this item. Pictures shown are general in nature.

Here\'s Something tothink about....Our Steel Balls are pressed on the bent 5/16\" stainlesssteel shaft. If you want to add your own special ball or knob, all you have todo is apply heat from aButaneTorch to just the ball top. Hold theball in the downwardpositionand the ball will fall off. You mayhave to use a little pressure withpliers to clear the ball from the shaftor cut the ball longways with a dremil tool or drill a hole in the top of the ball and punch the shaft off the ball. The shaft is 5/16\" stainlesssteel and can be threaded for your ball or knob.
