Naval Mouth Tap French Tape de Bouche Bronze Plaque Impala Antelope Anchor Wings For Sale

(#1411) Bronze plaque from the United Founders in France with a rectangular bronze on a shield-shaped wood base. The bronze features a horned animal's head/face with c-shaped horns (impala? gazelle? antelope?) that frame wings with an anchor overlay. It measures 5-1/4 inches across and 6 inches high. There is an inset hole for hanging on the back along with a paper/foil label that says "Aux Fondeurs Reunis" and translates literally to "to the founders united". It also has what looks like an address and phone number. The bronze is flawless and the wood is a rich dark brown. It is one of a few I purchased together at an estate sale recently. All the others I've been able to find more details about and/or like-items. Not this one. I could not find any others like it or even with a similar animal, although the wings/anchor symbol is not that uncommon. The animal most resembles an antelope or impala with its c-shaped horns, but I have no idea what it symbolizes on the plaque.
