1985 Vietnam War Panama Sole Jungle Boots


Very cool piece, these jungle boots were manufactured with the new “Panama Soles” which provided better traction and grip in the jungles of Vietnam and proved reliable during operation Grenada. They proved to be more rugged then the earlier variants, and quickly became a beloved piece of GI kit.


These boots are unworn, I pulled these out of an Airforce Veteran's footlocker a few years ago. They were newer then the rest of the items in his footlocker, so I suspect they were something he bought as surplus after his time in the service. They’re spike protective and complete with their original laces and tags. These boots were made in March of 1985


It’s getting hard to find these real military boots, especially with the tags- there's been a lot of cheap copies lately, but these are the real deal. The leather may be dry since they’ve been sitting for decades, and they could use a quick clean up.
