GREAT STORY WITH LOTS OF HISTORY

Selling: ORIGINAL WW1 US ARMY WOOL JACKET TUNIC W/ WW1 ARMY PANTS TROUSERS PATCHES BELT

Lot Includes:

-1 Original World War l US Army Wool Enlisted-men Private tailored uniform( w/ all buttons,1 pair of HQ collar discs,1 red discharge chevron, and 2 gold overseas chevrons) made by Sigmund Eisner Company Red Bank, NJ

-1 pair of Original World War l US Army canvas pants trousers (w/ all buttons & named “Beck”)

-1 World War era belt with golden buckle

This is a lot of original 100% World War l items including a jacket, pants, and a belt. The jacket is an authentic wool tunic from the First World War manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Company Red Bank, NJ, and stamped by the New York Depot. The jacket is in very good condition despite being over a hundred years old and is made out of higher quality wool compared to standard issue enlisted men’s tunic. The person to whom this jacket belonged served a year overseas during World War l meaning he was part of the original AEF that arrived in France in early 1918. It appears he served in the United States Army infantry with the headquarters company according to his collar discs. The one gold collar disc is from the interwar period which this soldier probably replaced after returning home from Europe. All buttons on the jacket are present and intact. The pants are original World War l trousers in good condition. There is a name in the pants written “Beck” however it is hard to narrow down who exactly this uniform belonged to without a first name. But as mentioned all items are 100% guaranteed original and for being over 100 years old are in great condition. A complete uniform in this condition is hard to come by. This is a rare lot of World War l items that belonged to a man who served in the United States Army Infantry in the headquarters company that served in France for one year. These pieces show the great history of World War l and a brave patriot who served his country in war. This would make a great gift for any history buff or a perfect addition to any collection. As always all items are original and guaranteed authentic.
