Order of Knights of Malta MeritCommanderMedalNeck Badge Military Division Catholic & Box with provenance.
An Austrian Empire Catholic Order of Knights of Malta medal with Ribbon/ collar, original box, and pictures depicting Admiral Miklos Horthy (\"His Serene Highness\"), and others wearing this medal. Maker Bertarelli Tanfani Roma I believe this is either a \"Commanders Cross\" or Grand Cross\" medal for this religious/ military order of knights. If you search for Admiral Horthy you can find him wearing this same medal on his wikipedia page. There are pictures, marriage certificate, birth certificate, and an ancestral booklet with a timeline and family tree. A fascinating history and beautiful piece to add to any collectors set.
