Here at Get M1 For The Road, we\'re big fans of ALL things M1 helmet related! Lately we\'ve found ourselves with too many M1 items and not enough free space, so it\'s time to thin the herd a bit. Our loss is your gain! Up for grabs - right here, right now, right away - is a small lot of removable suspensions for a P73 liner (which goes inside an M1 helmet shell).This lot was made in 1983 (although the date & contract number are hard to make out on a few).Further specifics are listed below:----DETAILED REPORT----SitRep:This model of suspension is meant to snap into a P73 liner and is useless for all others.If you\'re not certain about which type of liner you have, simply send me a few pics - I\'m here to help! As for the lot itself, these are FIVE new ones with a contract from 1983. I believe that some MAY have been attached to liners at some point, but they don\'t appear to have actually been issued (as in worn). On another note, some have \'blacked out\' marks, but I believe that this was done at the factory. These aren\'t stains, but more like something done with a marker. Perhaps they were stamped with the wrong info or something. Also, the webbing is in three different shades of green. None of them have one solid shade, but most have two, and a few have all three! These shades are clearly shown in the last pic. Lastly, a few of the buckles have a little tarnish. This should easily scrub away with an old toothbrush and water. I\'m guessing that these suspensions were ordered by the Government as \"replacements\" rather than being installed into liners fresh from thefactory(by Stemaco or SPP/CMP).
