An original full-sized metal chest insignia issued by the Goverment of the Soviet Union (USSR) and worn by units of the Armed Forces with the elite Guards status. Many of these units from the recent era ware also airborne capable. This is a Russian-made badge, stamped metal with enamel details and featuring a screw post fastener on the back side with matching metal nut.
