Original WW1 Mounted Canteen set. Cover is in great condition! A soldiers name is under one flap, "B.L. Schoelfield". There are signs of light use, a couple faint stains and age. All hardware is clean with both snaps working great. All leather is soft and pliable. Inside wool liner is in very good condition with no holes or separation. All Stamps have a little fade but are fairly bold. Canteen and Cup are both unmarked which indicates RIA (Rock Island Arsenal) as the manufacturer and a 1917 date. There are no dents on either item! Cap has original cork insert. Chain is also in good condition. This set looks to have been together for a long time. A wonderful early WWI mounted canteen set! NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
