Portuguese Distinguished Service Medal. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The Portuguese Distinguished Service Medal (Medalha de Serviços Distintos) is a prestigious national decoration established in October of 1863. Originally known as the Good Services Medal (Medalha de Bons Serviços), it was created to honor extraordinary military service or remarkable acts of merit. Over time, its scope expanded to recognize not only Portuguese military personnel but also, in exceptional cases, civilians and foreign nationals who have rendered outstanding service to Portugal. The medal is awarded in different classes, including gold, silver, and bronze, reflecting the level of distinction.
