For Consideration is a Rare Untouched Georgian ca.1790-1810 British Pillow Pommel Five Ball Officer's Spadroon Sword!


c1790's-1810

Circa 1790-1810 British Pillow Pommel Sword with 5-Ball Brass Knuckle guard. The dark stained bone grip was used on swords belonging to Captains or lower rank Officer’s. The curved single edge blade measures 25.5 inches with large single fuller. The overall size of this sword is 31.0 inches.
This Sword was found in the attic of a period home in Bedford Massachusetts in 1981 and is in its original untouched condition with a solid but dark and pitted blade, Nice patinaed Brass guard with slight crack to the bone grip. This would be a perfect restoration project for someone or just leave it alone as we had it on display in its original form. Hallmarks if any are no longer visible, blade has some movement. no scabbard.
