RARE US Officer Flight School/Instructor Hat Badge & Collar Insignia NS Meyer For Sale
$124.95
Item Description
This is a tough one as I am not sure of the exact designation but I believe this is an officers set for flight school or instruction It has the United States Great Seal eagle but the eagle lacks the escutcheon shield. The wings are shaped upward which is more like the civilian instructor badges of the WW2 era. Replacing the 13 colonies symbol above the eagle is a winged torch which is usually associated with flight instruction. A matched set found together with the same NS Meyer New York back stamp.
