A rare document from the Fire Department of the NKVD (NKVD stands for People\'s Commissariat of Internal Affairs, the NKVD was the central government agency of the USSR, operating from 1934 to 1946. It was responsible for combating crime, maintaining order, state security, border troops, intelligence, and the Gulag system. The NKVD became a key instrument of mass repression.) of the Ukrainian SSR.
Owner: Grigory Stepanovich Troyan, this document confirms that its owner attended the Junior Command School of the Higher Professional Education of the NKVD of the Ukrainian SSR in 1939. Based on his training, the owner was awarded the qualification of squad leader in the NKVD paramilitary fire department.
This is essentially a type of NKVD service ID. The document contains original seals and stamps and is certified by the signature of an authorized person.
