Rare, Very Early Antique 1883 CIVIL WAR Book, "ILLUSTRATED RECOLLECTIONS OF A DRUMMER BOY"

DESCRIPTION: A great, rare, VERY EARLY antique book of Civil War recollections of a young drummer boy. Very detailed and interesting content.

A nice looking, early book written about 20 years after the Civil War by a young drummer boy, Harry M. Kieffer. HE WAS THE YOUNGEST DRUMMER BOY IN THE UNION ARMY, SERVING IN THE 150th PENN. VOLS. Particularly interesting perspective and experiences. Very nice patina overall and great GOLD-TINTED Victorian cover. 332 pages long. Covers and text pages are in very nice condition overall given the age.
