Historic ensemble belonging to a French Gendarmerie cavalry officer, comprising the uniform jacket, original equipment and accessories, cavalry boots, a French Chassepot bayonet, and a Légion d’honneur decoration.1. Officer’s Jacket – Size 48Original antique French Gendarmerie cavalry officer’s jacket, complete with its white-metal epaulettes and aiguillettes decorated with grenade motifs, retaining an authentic age-related patina.The buttons are marked “Gendarmerie. Paris” and feature the traditional grenade emblem.The interior retains numerous period stamps, markings and other original details.The jacket shows normal signs of age and use, including some light wear and a few small holes. The locking mechanism is fully functional.
