Ended up getting some of these contract M240 M249 slings but no machine gun to put them on.These are awful - overbuilt and heavy but that\'s how the military does it. Even has anNSN number - 1005-01-533-4093.Comes as shown - stainless steel cable covered by sewn Nomex sleeves over each end with not two but three black oxide snap hooks. There are HK clips and the there are snap shackles used with chains - that what this has.Nice thick pad though that can be removed.
