Russian FAPSI Intelligence Insignia Box Set

Supreme Departmental Distinction — Honored Employee Breast Badge

Item Description

Up for your consideration is an original, official-issue "Honored Employee of FAPSI" breast badge (Почетный сотрудник ФАПСИ). This prestigious insignia represents the **absolute highest senior departmental distinction** bestowed by the former Federal Agency of Government Communications and Information under the President of the Russian Federation.

Operating from 1991 to 2003 as an elite, closed KGB-successor apparatus handling cryptographic intelligence and presidential electronic security, FAPSI awards are strictly limited. Positioned above standard merit pieces like the 'Honor and Dignity' medal, the Honored Employee badge was reserved exclusively for high-ranking officers, technical directors, and the senior intelligence intelligentsia after decades of unblemished service. Following the dissolution of the agency in 2003, this elite award line was permanently closed, making genuine examples exceedingly scarce.

Your complete lot configuration includes:

• Official Honored Employee Breast Badge: Exceptional multi-piece heavy metal construction showcasing a gold-finished double-headed eagle insignia with a central shield bearing lightning bolts over a white and blue enamel cross. The dynamic assembly is beautifully framed by an intricate oak and laurel wreath bound with a ribbon bow. Features its original, fully present threaded reverse tightening disk.
• Original Presentation Box & Nameplate: Original deep blue display case featuring its genuine interior presentation lid lining and a bright-cut, gold-finished metal tracking plate stamped with the full institutional presidential designation text.
