We have a rare1915 United States Navy publication know as "The Bluejacket's Manual" The Bluejacket's Manual wasfirst published in 1902.

After several scattered publications of the first version of themanual the Navy hiredtheFranklin Publishing which was contracted to publish the 1914 and 1915 manuals and pamphlet. 1914 Edition became know as the First Edition and 1951 was known as the 2nd edition. both the 1914 and 1915 versions have 849 pages. This book is the 1915 edition and seems complete except for the title page.

I think it is noteworthy to look over the last picture which indicates the annual pay structure and benefitsin joining theNavy in 1915.



Condition:

The manual is in very good condition except for a missing title page and a hole in the shine covering as shown in pictures. The inside cover is pulling away from the rest of the book. Other than these problems all inserts seem to be intact.
