Dragoons shashka made last year by the Russian Empire in 1917.
Very nice example of shashka made during WWI. The blade is in excellent condition with a round mark of Zlatoust Weaponry Factory, the year of production was 1917 - last year of the 300 year empire. The other side with arsenal and quality marks.
Most of the brass parts are stamped with letter A (arsenal). The wooden scabbard is covered not by leather, but the canvas and painted over with black paint or tar, I'm not sure. Unfortunately has some losses of paint. The appropriate era bayonet with Tula's factory mark is in almost mint condition.
The total length is 38.5 inches; blade only is 32 inches. Free shipping in the USA. Shipping overseas by Global International. (31)
