New old stock (NOS) Russian Typhoon-Class submarine clock in perfect cosmetic and mechanical condition. Complete with original box, instructions, wall mounting template, screws, and factory inspection certificate, dated 2001. Clock is a heavy 6 1/2 pounds, built like a tank, and keeps excellent time within specifications listed on the factory certificate. A great piece of working Cold War history that will last forever and looks cool in any office, man cave, boat...or even your living room (if wife agrees, of course!).
These clocks were produced by Russia\'s Vostok Military Clock Company, which supplied rugged marine clocks to the Soviet/Russian Navy. The precision 12-jewel mechanical movement is encased in a gasket-sealed aluminum alloy housing designed to survive depths to 2,000 feet and withstand depth charge concussions. Only 10,000 of these clocks exist; this one is numbered 5,118 and is rare to find in unused condition, with original box and papers.
