Thewooden scabbard covered with canvas and lacquer. I covered the loose ring on aband with masking tape to avoid damage to the very delicate scabbard. Nothingis wrong with it.
Theoriginal white sword knot (portepee)for this type of the sword is attached. The totallength is 38.5 inches; the blade only is almost 32 inches. (23)
