Soviet Badge in Commemoration of the 50thAnniversary of KGB of Georgia, 1971 issue.
This isGUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL, official KGB award from the early 70s, issued duringthe Soviet period – not a post-Soviet reissue, replica or souvenir!
Made inaluminum, paint and lacquer; the pendant is 29.4 mm wide. Excellent condition.
Unlike mostother anniversary badges issued by the republican chapters of KGB, the Georgianbadge was produced locally which reflects on its quality – not bad but clearlyinferior to the “all-Union” KGB awards. It is however one of the scarcer of the"republican" KGB awards.
