Product DescriptionBelow is the detailed description of the product:
This is an original Soviet-era badge awarded to members of the Komsomol, the Communist Union of Youth, who distinguished themselves as "Young Guardsmen" during the execution of the Five-Year Plan initiatives. The badge prominently features a raised star emblem, a common symbol of Soviet ideology, accompanied by Cyrillic text that translates to "Young Guardsman of the Five-Year Plan." The reverse side includes a pin-back attachment for display.
The Five-Year Plans were a series of ambitious economic and industrial development programs initiated by the Soviet government, starting in the late 1920s. This badge likely dates to a later plan and recognizes individuals for their contributions to socialist construction, particularly in labor, agriculture, or industrial sectors. The Komsomol played a vital role in promoting these goals, mobilizing youth to participate in state-mandated projects.
The badge remains an enduring symbol of Soviet propaganda and the collectivist spirit encouraged during this era. A fine example of socialist memorabilia, this item offers insight into the historical and ideological framework of the USSR. Measures approximately as shown in the images for reference.Important Note:
