Historical Information:
Established in the 1940s, this badge was part of the specialized series for the People's Commissariat of Communications (NKPS). It was awarded to inspectors, repairmen, and technical staff responsible for the safety and maintenance of railway cars. In the vast Soviet rail network, the "Vagonnik" (Car Worker) played a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of transport, making this badge a significant piece of industrial history.
The item is in excellent condition. The enamel is bright, smooth, and free of significant wear, providing a perfect glossy finish. The metal details remain sharp, and the screw-back post is sturdy and fully functional. Please refer to the photos for a close-up view of the craftsmanship.
