USAF Air Force Wings Badges Lot of 2 3” polished 1.5” bronze tone Vietnam era For Sale

Two authentic United States Air Force Senior Enlisted Aircrew Badges. One is a full size 3” badge for full dress uniforms with a high-gloss mirror finish. The second is a small collar badge in a bronzed tone. The insignia displays a central circular medallion features the United States Coat of Arms (an American bald eagle carrying an olive branch and arrows with a shield on its chest) flanked by outstretched wings, with a single five-pointed star resting directly on top. The star denotes the Senior qualification level. Awarded after 7 years in the specialty (or 1,300 flying hours / 72 months). The "V-21" stamped on the back of the 3” badge is a specific manufacturer's insignia signifying that the piece was manufactured by Vanguard Industries, a prominent official supplier of military medals and uniform accoutrements. This specific code format was primarily utilized on pieces produced between the mid-1960s and the late 1970s.The second badge is a miniature-sized U.S. Air Force Chief Enlisted Aircrew Badge. It is only 1.5 inches. The U.S. Air Force produces aviation badges in two primary metal variations: highly polished mirror-finish silver (for formal mess dress or ceremonial service uniforms) and silver oxide / oxidized silver (a muted, non-reflective gray/bronze patina used for daily service uniforms). This has a bronzed finish. Features a pair of stylized wings with an embossed shield and globe design in the center, capped by a star indicating the "Chief" proficiency level. These were given to me by an Air Force veteran to honor my first solo cross country flight after I received my pilot’s license in 2001.In great condition. Trying to find a new home for this historic piece. Make an offer. If it’s reasonable I’ll consider it.
