Commemorative Badge and Certificate – 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Ukraine (1995)
This is a commemorative badge with its original certificate, issued to mark the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Ukraine from Nazi occupation during World War II.
The accompanying document serves as an official certificate of award. The decree establishing this commemorative distinction was issued in September 1994.
The badge was awarded to war veterans, as well as Ukrainian citizens and citizens of other nations who took part in the liberation of Ukraine from fascist forces.
Typically crafted from brass with enamel detailing, the badge symbolizes gratitude and remembrance of those who contributed to Ukraine’s liberation and victory in World War II.
