This item is a commemorative medallion featuring a profile portrait of Saddam Hussein, commonly styled after 1980s Iraqi commemorative and souvenir issues.Design Features: The obverse displays the bust of Saddam Hussein in a suit, while the reverse features Arabic inscriptions typically denoting national anniversaries or presidential milestones.
Because it is solid base metal (bronze or brass) with gold-colored plating or a polished brass finish, it is valued as an advanced historical artifact rather than raw bullion.
These larger presentation pieces command a higher collector premium than the small pocket tokens, generally selling for $150 to $300 depending on the specific anniversary text on the back.
