Vintage Soviet/USSR military-style cap cockade or officer’s cap badge featuring a red enamel five-pointed star with hammer and sickle, surrounded by a gold-tone wreath.
This piece was personally acquired by the seller in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, during a visit by the Soviet/Russian sailing ship Pallada around 1991–1992.
The badge appears to be a late Soviet-era officer or military cap insignia. The front displays well, with the enamel and raised metal details intact. The back retains the horizontal mounting bar.
