Up for sale is a magnificent trio of authentic, original black-and-white historical photographs capturing Bulgarian Army soldiers and officers during the WWI era. These highly detailed portraits show troops gathered in front of a grand station or estate building, alongside a spectacular military parade formation marching through a town street.
All three photographs feature the classic decorative deckle (scalloped) edges characteristic of antique photo paper. The reverse sides carry highly collectible period manufacturer backmarks, including two stamped with the German "Agfa Lupex" watermark and one featuring four distinct stamps of the Belgian "Gevaert Ridax" insignia. One reverse features pencil inventory markings ("430 / 2-7").
