This COLLECTION is: \"ZOOM - The AIRPLANE CARD GAME\" 1941, Whitman # 3056, COMPLETE 36-cards, BOX, 6\" x 9\" INSTRUCTION SHEET. At the time this game was published, 1941, the PHOTO-CARDS of 5 of the American PLANES were EXPERIMENTAL MODELS and 4 were never produced for military use, for example: BELL \"AIRACUDA\", a TWIN \"PUSHER-ENGINE\" Fighter; CURTISS XP-42; VULTEE V-12A; and BOEING XB-15. ONE MODEL, the XP-38 by LOCKHEED was adopted. ALL PHOTO-CARDS are BRILLIANT GLOSS, with SHARP EDGES, SUPPLE. ONE CARD, the German DORNIER DO-17, has a tear up its center that was repaired with a strip of old magic tape ... apparently someone back then did not like the Nazis (see detail pix). Otherwise, ALL THE CARDS ARE PERFECT. One FOLD-LINE of the Instruction Sheet has a clean tear (see detail pix). The BOX-TOP\'s upper LEFT corner is neatly separated, as is the BOX-BOTTOM\'s upper RIGHT corner (see detail pix). The ruler is NOT included!
