Up for sale/sale is an authentic WWI French Model 1886/91 "Lebel" cruciform spike bayonet, complete with its original steel scabbard. Known famously to French infantry as "Rosalie", this bayonet was designed for the 8mm Lebel rifle and Berthier carbine.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The blade is straight and bright with minimal age spots. The metal guard, locking collar, and scabbard retain a dark finish. The locking button on the handle depresses as expected.
