Quentin Roosevelt (b.1897 - d.July 1918) was the son of President Theodore Roosevelt. As a WW1 fighter pilot in the U.S. Army Air Service (USAAS) 1st Pursuit Group 95th Aero Squadron (Kicking Mule Squadron) was killed in aerial combat after engaging at least 7 german aircraft over France July 14, 1918. He is the only son of a U.S. President to havedied in combat.The95th Aero Squadronwas an Air Service, United States Army unit that fought on the Western Front during World War I. It was the first American pursuit (fighter) squadron to fly in combat on theWestern Front, beginning on 8 March 1918.
