Please note,I may be away for periods of time at or after sale to take care of some sick family members but will due my best to stay in contact with folksHere we have a great named twice Airborne helmet-liner with 11Th AB decal...It has been painted over from first userby Army before being issued to this officer....The first troopers name is also research able...The paint over awas done in wartime,not a repro of any type....you can see the later paint chipping away on shell and liner...nice rank insignia attached to liner...looks like possibly the shell may have had a unit paint or decal....not sure...it is a front seam,swivel bale shell in great shape...rig appears to have mostly mid-late war features..I have taken photos of critical points...The 11th is well named for the rescue at Los Banos pow camp as well as many other Pacific campaigns...As well as combat in Korea and beyond....the leather liner is quite old and brittle and rear strap has a clip holding it together...
