WW2 Japanese samurai short sword with Arisaka flag WWII IJA katana dagger.
WW2 Japanese bring back sword and flag from marine veteran Cpl.Ryan McBride who served in the pacific at Saipan. The photo is not included as my friend who
purchased these items 30 years ago still has other items belonging to this veteran but supplied the photo to show to show the veteran. The sword and flag have been there done that but still display nicely and have great history. The blade has a nice hamon and does have some random frosting in areas as shown. Blade has nice point. Complete with leather scabbard that exhibits exterior wear and strap that is torn. The flag included would be attached to the Arisaka rifle and also makes a very nice display. Flag has wear/tear/soiling as shown. I have not taken handle off and can leave that up to buyer. Great set with history.
