Very nice military pin collection fresh example! This is a pretty scarce example the smaller size flat examples used by USMC Captains & Navy LTs... this is a scarce early H&H Hilborn and Hamburger Sterling Clutch back bar. It also has a pair of sterling silver clutches. These sterling examples of these with these marks and clutches were used for a very short time mid war.
If you are missing one of these it is going to be very hard for you to find a replacement for it! This is a great fresh to the market example. Condition is excellent just a nice deep darkened tarnish that can be polish right off it you want. Hard to find as is but with sterling clutches even harder!
