WW2 USMC Edson’s Raiders P44 Fatigue Jacket 6th MARDIV #1.
This USMC P44 fatigue jacket was worn and belonged to Sergeant Calvin B. Headrick. Calvin served on Company C, 1st Raider Bn, before being sent to the 6th MARDIV close to the end of the war. Unfortunately due to the National Archives being closed during the COVID outbreak, I haven’t been able to get my request for his IDPF pulled and sent to me. I have his alpha greens and dress blues (not for sale) in my collection, but unfortunately his family removed the ribbon bars and kept his medals, including a Purple Heart that he received during the war.
The P44 overall is in good shape, with some wear and minor stains. It is missing a button on the front. It was stored for many years by the family, and this is the first time the three P44’s have been offered on the open market.
Please see photos for a better description of what you’re buying. Unfortunately, the fatigues aren’t named to him. Please check my sales for the two more P44’s belonging to him.
