Item Description
here is an authentic WWI-era American fighting / utility knife accompanied by its original CASE-marked leather scabbard.

The scabbard is clearly stamped CASE, produced by W.R. Case & Sons during the World War I period. Knives of this era were frequently unmarked, with identification carried by the scabbard alone—making this a correct and desirable pairing.

The knife features a single-edge steel blade with long fuller, stacked leather washer grip, and a cast aluminum pommel, consistent with American private-purchase fighting knives produced circa 1915–1930.

Condition is original and untouched. The blade shows heavy age-related oxidation, the leather grip remains intact with honest wear, and the scabbard retains its structure, stitching, and frog stud. No cleaning or restoration has been performed.

Details:
• Maker (scabbard): CASE – W.R. Case & Sons
• Era: WWI (circa 1915–1930)
• Origin: United States
• Blade length: approx. 8.5–9 inches
• Construction: Steel blade, leather washer grip, aluminum pommel
• Includes original CASE-marked leather scabbard
• Blade unmarked (typical for the period)

An excellent original example for collectors of CASE, WWI militaria, or early American fighting knives.
