Superb small collection of items from a US soldier deployed in WWII including two of his insignias one of which is from the 610th Tank Destroyers battalion and the other is from a different tank destroyers battalion that perhaps he was transferred to. Also included are two hand carved wooden sweetheart items that were sent home to his wife/girlfriend. I purchased these items from the caretaker of the soldier who passed away in the 90s. A very special and rare grouping. Please inspect the photos carefully to best understand the condition of the items, the photos are the most important part of the description. One of the insignias is sterling silver while the other is brass. Both are enameled.
