These documents preserve the personal side of America’s wartime home front, when families were required to use government-issued ration books and stamps to purchase restricted goods. Unlike loose, unrelated examples, this collection brings together food, transportation and military tobacco-rationing material in one historically meaningful display.
The documents show authentic age-related wear, including toning, folds, handwriting, edge wear, staining and small tears. The tobacco ration card has visible paper loss, and the frame shows normal handling wear. No claim is made that every original stamp or internal page remains present. Please study all photographs carefully because they form an important part of the description.
Everything shown is included and will be sold together as one lot. A distinctive display for collectors of WWII memorabilia, military history, OPA material, American home-front ephemera or historical documents.
